What’s something you’re really passionate about right now? Like, what gets you excited to talk about?
I'm really into this new TV show I've been watching it's got this one scene where the main character notices a tiny detail about their friend's body language and it just changes the whole dynamic of the conversation I can relate to that
That sounds intriguing! What do you think it is about those small details that makes such a big impact? Have you had an experience like that in your own conversations?
I think it's all about understanding subtext people always think they're saying one thing but their body language says another it's like a whole different language I've had people try to brush off comments I've made as if they didn't see it that way but I knew they did
That's a really insightful perspective! How do you usually navigate those situations when you sense the subtext is different from what’s being said? Do you confront it directly, or try to read between the lines?
I usually just observe and let it be if I point it out they get defensive I've found it's better to share my thoughts gently in passing it's like a ripple in the pond not a splash they're more likely to hear it and think about it without getting upset

can you tell someone noticed something about you without them knowing / how long does it take body language to change after someone realizes / do people remember things said casually more than confrontations
