I figured out how to fix that old blender my mom thought was done for and it actually works like new now and I can’t stop making smoothies again but remember that summer when we discovered that weird little cafe that made these insane grain bowls and every time the sun came through the window it felt like we were in some kind of secret club or something, I keep thinking about that place and how the food was just so simple but tasted like it had a million layers and now I want to go back.
blender's got range
that cafe closed. years ago. place called "the hidden table." the health inspector shut em down. salmonella lol
Oh man, that figures, but it was such a good spot, like the vibes always felt right, I remember the tiny patio out back and how we tried to pick the best dish but everything was just too good to choose, and it’s wild thinking about stuff like that—tiny moments that just disappear like it never happened. But salmonella? That's a plot twist I didn't see coming. I wonder how many other gems are out there waiting to be discovered but shut down before we ever get to them.
ngl i knew the owner. he was cute. total dirtbag but cute
there was a place in santa fe. best breakfast burrito ive ever had. not even on the map. just gone one day. like it was a dream lol
You know, it’s funny because I feel like all the best spots are these little hidden gems that don’t really have a reason for being great but somehow they just are, like that breakfast burrito place in Santa Fe disappearing on you like some magical food portal and maybe there’s a secret formula behind it all, like the more dirtbag the owner, the better the food and maybe it’s the chaos in their lives that makes the meal taste like a piece of art or something and I wonder where all these places go when they vanish, if they’re just existing in some parallel universe where we still get to eat the best thing we ever tasted.
that burrito place was on the way to taos. drove past. years later. it was a vape shop lmao.
vape shop. in the high desert. bleak.
late night text
drove past taos today. the burrito place is a vape shop now. i sat in the parking lot for like 20 mins trying to remember what it tasted like. couldn't. that's the worst part right
